ABOUT ME

I am so excited to be starting my forth year at Coyote Creek.   My two children attended CCE from Kindergarten until 6th grade and presently they both attend Colorado Mesa State University.   As a family, we love heading to the mountains whenever possible to kayak, raft, mountain bike, ski, hike, and camp. When hanging out in town, I also enjoy playing tennis and volleyball.  I taught Physical Education in Denver Public Schools for 8 years before having children and have substituted in Douglas County for the 8 years leading up to my position at Coyote Creek.

I love teaching P.E.!  My goal for your students is to come and have a fun time being physically active learning about their physical health and experiencing new and past played activities/sports.  My hope is that students might discover an activity or activities that they would like to incorporate into their everyday life outside of school, something they enjoy to keep them active.  In P.E. teamwork, sportsmanship and learning to support and encourage classmates is an important part of my program. The students at Coyote Creek are awesome and do an amazing job of sharing a positive attitude with one another in the gym.  I am very lucky to be teaching at such a wonderful school with very caring and special students. I’m looking forward to another GREAT year!
